What is Career and Technical Education
Career and Technical Education or CTE is very important in our society. CTE is education that prepares people and students for the work force. In many cases, it is considered the blue collared jobs. Some of the careers that CTE covers are, chefs, car mechanics, welders, construction, nursing, fashion design, engineering, robotics, and so many more. There are some secondary school and colleges dedicated to teaching CTE programs.

Eastern Idaho Technical CollegeThe Eastern Idaho Technical College or EITC located in Idaho Falls, Idaho is a college dedicated to CTE programs. They have a nursing department, welding, automotive repair, and many more CTE programs. We also visited EITC on our CTE Professional Fieldtrip.
